Camp Glisson


Camp Glisson Glisson Camp & Retreat Center offers Summer Camp and year-round Retreat experiences in the forests surrounding Cane Creek Falls near Dahlonega, Georgia. Since 1925, this place has become holy ground as thousands have had their faith strengthened through God’s presence here in creation and Christian community. Glisson is part of the North Georgia Camp & Retreat Ministries of the United Methodist Church’s North Georgia Conference.

MUST brings people of many faiths together to respond to God's challenge to minister to others with compassion and love, without judgment of the beliefs, background or circumstances of those who serve or are being served.

North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church Comprised of nearly 800 churches, more than 1,300 clergy members, and approximately 340,000 lay members, The North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church seeks to develop principled Christian leaders, to engage in ministry with the poor, improve global health, advocate for justice, respond to disasters, and fulfill the mission of the denomination: “To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” Currently, it is the largest United Methodist Conference in the United States.
