Mt. Zion Mission Statement

“To make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”

Called into being by God's grace and empowered by the Holy Spirit, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church is a dynamic and diverse church family. We reach out to all people in Christ's name in an exciting ministry of help, hope and healing. In addition to hands-on activity, Mt. Zion supports financially the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). UMCOR provides assistance to affected individuals during a natural or man-made disaster coordinating help from UMC Districts when a disaster strikes somewhere in the United States or worldwide.

We challenge each other to discover, develop and use our God-given gifts and graces in loving witness to the world. We experience the joy of God's promises and celebrate the miracle of God's presence.
