Stewardship
Over the last year and a half, as we have navigated out of pandemic isolation, and the reliance on remote worship and other gatherings, our congregation has revealed a faithful spirit, committed to being the church Jesus calls us to be. We are also experiencing the joy of many newcomers, which I believe is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s activity. As we further engage ministry and our spiritual growth, our Stewardship Program is integral to this enrichment.
Congregations that approach financial stewardship from a biblical perspective recognize their financial contributions are a means of grace. Personal giving helps people grow in relationship with God, as they commit to supporting the church’s mission with a percentage of their incomes. Our stewardship program is based on the biblical philosophy that gracious giving is an essential element in our development, and encourages us toward intentional and consistent giving in response to the question, “What percentage of my income is God calling me to give?” Culminating with worship on Consecration Sunday, October 30th, we will be asking our members to make their financial commitments for 2023, toward our church’s missional, benevolent, and educational ministries in this community and around the world. We will provide Estimate of Giving Cards to place in the baskets in worship on Consecration Sunday. In addition, we will share how to make commitments online.
Over the next few weeks, various church members will share personal testimony and information as we join in our response to the Lord. Thank you in advance for your wholehearted participation and dedication to the ministry we share.
