How You Can Help

Every year Mt Zion participates in Angel Tree, helping provide Christmas gifts to children in need.  This year we are giving to the children in the Cobb County Foster Care Service and the opportunity is coming earlier than ever.  You will get to choose your angel on November 8, 2015! As a family, we encourage you to pick your angel with care, shop as a family, and then pray for those children that will receive the gifts. Here’s what to do:

1. Pick an angel from the tree on Sunday November 8, 2015. Please record the angel’s number and your name and email address on the provided poster.

2. Shop over the following few weeks.

3. Return the gifts to the Youth Center, UNWRAPPED, and labeled with the angel number by November 29th.

4. Volunteer to help sort and package gifts directly after the last service on Sunday November 29.

Cobb County Foster Care Service will come pick up the gifts on the afternoon of November 29th. This year they have over 400 children.  Mt. Zion plays an important contribution towards making the magic happen.
