Our congregation is a family that is dedicated to putting faith and love into action.
Thank you for visiting.
The mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
The vision of Mt. Zion UMC is: Making a Difference Loving, Caring Serving
The Adult Learning Cluster desires to educate and equip people for a lifelong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
"give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back."
It's time to take an angel and be an angel to one of the many children in foster care who count on Mt. Zion for gifts to unwrap this Christmas. Dana Peterson, our contact at foster4love tells us that there are 466 children in foster care in Cobb County as of August, and that number continues to rise.
1. Choose an angel from the Angel Tree, available in the lower welcome area on Sunday, November 12.
(angels will be available until the tree is empty, on a first come, first serve basis)
2. Register the number on the angel you choose on the chart proviced
3. Shop for some or all of the items you child has listed
4. Return your gifts, (no need to wrap) with your angel attached securely, to the Youth Center by 11:00 am on Sunday, December 3
