Do you find it hard to handle the holiday season in the midst of grieving the loss of a loved one. Mt. Zion is offering a special Griefshare session called Surviving the Holidays. This video-based presentation draws on wisdom from experts in the field of dealing with loss and includes time for discussion and sharing. Vacation Bible School registration has closed. 120 kids will be on campus at our VBS and prayers for the kids, volunteers and planning team are greatly appreciated.

If you missed Rev. Hopper’s informational meeting on March 8, there is also the Marietta/Atlanta District meeting on Tuesday, March 13 at Smyrna First UMC at 7:00 pm.
Annual United Methodist Women Retreat with guest speaker Donna Lott, a speaker,teacher and writer who has been inspired by vision loss to experience God in a fresh, funny yet profound way.
Registration begins at 8:30 am and the day's events start at 9:00. The location is the Northhampton Neighborhood Clubhous at 3200 Talimore Circle, Marietta, GA 30066. A registration and fee of $35 (includes lunch) is due on or before January 14. You may print a registration at the link below:
Members from East Cobb UMC Cluster Churches are encouraged to attend the camp meeting on Sunday July 16, 7:30 - 8:45 pm at the Marietta Campground. Rev. Michael Mozley, executive director of Catalyst for Africa, will deliver the message and the music will be from the band, Home Grown.
After the service there will be a Potluck Cookie
