The following classes include a variety of ages and are a combination of lecture & discussion, ranging from Bible Study to family and social issues related to the Bible.

Short term studies focusing on Spiritual life development and how we can better live the life God intended for us. Most studies are 4 - 8 weeks in length.
Class make up: 30 - 65 - couples, singles, married attending alone - all walks of life.

Couples and singles gather in an open atmosphere of love to study challenging Christian books, alternating with Biblical studies. A variety of activities exemplify the vitality and enthusiasm of the Discovery Class. Class Makeup: Couples, singles, married attending alone. Ages: 40-60+.

Margaret Yarbrough Class begins with spirited singing, followed by moments of devotion, prayer, and study in The International Lesson for Adults, with sharing and fellowship in an atmosphere of Christian love. Margaret Yarbrough class also supports various mission projects with regular donations.

Logos Class is discussion oriented with an emphasis on how God's Word is relevant for us today, with a focus on prayer and Bible study that leads one to build a closer and stronger relationship with Christ. Logos members enjoy sharing in Christian fellowship and have a genuine love for each other.

Pairs & Spares Class uses several teachers in discussing Bible Study, Social Issues, Parenting and Seasonal Lessons. Pairs & Spares is friendly and supportive, meeting for coffee and fellowship before beginning class at 10:00 a.m. Class Makeup: Couples, singles, married attending alone. Ages: 40+.

The Seekers are a discussion-oriented class using several teachers in Bible Study and discussion of different Christian authors. The class supports many church and community mission groups, such as Habitat, DFCS foster families and other DFCS needs, Sacred Tapestry, and Brazil missions. Care Boxes are sent to soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The class enjoys great fellowship and is a very caring and supportive group. Class Makeup: Couples, married individuals and singles. Voyagers Class studies in the past include “The Andy Griffith Series,” “Parenting by Heart,” Revelations, International Religions, and New Testament teachings. Voyagers are a relaxed fellowship of parents of children from newborn to high school. We alternate between Bible studies and topical studies aimed at building Christian families and values. Class Makeup: Couples & married attending alone. Ages : 30-45+.

Wesley Workers Class is designed for couples and individuals of varying backgrounds and a cross section of ages. The International Lesson for Adults is used in a lecture format and is taught by members on a rotating schedule. Members of this class actively contribute their time, talents and resources to the total program of Mt. Zion and hold many leadership positions. Class Makeup: Couples & widows, mostly retired. Ages: 55+.
