The Evangelism Ministry at Mt. Zion UMC has two main goals: 1) To help bring people to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and 2) To help bring new members into the body of Christ at Mt. Zion UMC. Evangelism operates and supports the following programs to enable those two purposes, in the spirit of The Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20, to come to fruition:
1. Greeter Ministry
2. Candy Ministry
3. Visitor Contact Program
4. Staff information booths at special church events
5. Support Mt. Zion UMC Youth Sports Ministry Outreach
6. Support Outreach through Local and Global Missions
7. Host "Meet the Staff" quarterly luncheons for Visitors
